hygiene plan (hospital)

A hygiene plan contains information and binding regulations concerning hygiene and the corresponding work processes for all of the facilities in a hospital. The objective is to prevent the spread of microbes by patients and personnel and to avoid nosocomial infection. Many laws regulate hospital processes to protect the public from infection.
