UPS unit

Uninterrupted Power Supply: Fluctuation in the electricity supply can lead to loss of data. A UPS is therefore an important part of computerized systems. It filters input and protects against low voltage phases but also against voltage peaks. Should there be a complete break in the electricity supply, the UPS unit, which has storage batteries, allows the user to complete work in progress and close down systems correctly. Examples of UPS units use: servers, telephone systems, emergency lighting, alarm systems, monitoring equipment, BACS
