wet mopping
Removal of water-soluble stains and soiling from hard floors. A one-step process involves applying the cleaning solution with a mop or cloth and leaving to dry. The two-step process is much more effective: The cleaning solution is applied liberally to the surface to dissolve dirt. In a second step, liquid is removed. The two-step process may only be applied to surfaces which are not water-sensitive but the result is better and the danger of slipping is reduced.
